Well I was supposed to be leaving for MS (mississippi) tonight to see my family & friends but my mom decided to wait until the last minute to tell me I can't bring my dogs. She knowos damn well that it would be nearly impossible to find some one else to care for them for 4 days on such short notice. I guess she just didn't want me to come. Apparently she assumed that the only person I was coming to MS to see was her and it wasn't a good weekend for her. Not only did I want to see my friends but more importnantly I wanted to see my grandparents. They're in their 80's and I try to see them every possible chance I get. But leave it to my mom to be accidentally selfish. Anyhow, Now that that's off my chest on to the better things.

I had already taken off 2 days of work to go down there because my fiance' had a 4 day weekend so we figured we would make our own summer vacation and it would be great. Here's our agenda:
Saturday: We are going to beech bend which is an amusement park/water park and it has mini golf and a petting zoo! Whoo Hoo!
Sunday: The cincinnati zoo has a special going on for half price admission and parking and we've been wanting to go for awhile so we're going up there sunday.
Monday: We're going hiking and swimming in a river in the mountains and maybe also a lake.
Tuesday: We're going to a new aquatic center in the neighboring town that has HUGE water slides and is really cheap. Whoot!
And that is my summer vacation...I would rather be going to see my friends and family but my mom screwed me on that one. I think Im not going to talk to her for a week or so. Not blatantly and mean, I'm just not going to answer or return her calls for awhile. She has myspace she can see that Im fine on there. I just dont feel like talking to her right now.

Gotta love family throwing sticks in things like that. Oooh! a zoo trip. Zoos are awesome.
